The trailer of Santhanam's new movie 'Parris Jayaraj' has just landed and seems to be a local flavored fun-filled entertainer judging by the little over two minutes cut. Santa apparently plays a gaana singer who falls in love and due to the machinations of a lawyer loses his love and becomes a drunkard. Now that is right up the comedy hero's alley and his one-liners and counters in the trailer bring the smiles.

'Parris Jayaraj' is directed by Johnson who earlier gave the hit movie 'A1' for Santhanam and Santhosh Narayanan also is on board from that combo churning out the footapping gaanas. Veteran cinematographer Arthur Wilson is handling the camera.

'Parris Jayaraj' has Anaika Soti and Sastika Rajendran as the love interests of Santhanam while Mottai Rajendran plays a pivotal role. The film is produced by Lark Studios and is expected to hit the screens in a few weeks time.
