Parthiban hints at a stormy new project with Simbu

Simbu right from his young age has remained an enigma, especially how he has retained his large fan base even though he does not give films at regular intervals and gets embroiled in controversies. In a recent interview actor director R. Parthiban has hailed Simbu as a unique and self-made star while reacting to a throwback photo of himself awarding Simbu when he was a child.

Parthiban further hinted that he is ready to direct Simbu but the young star has to give him the go-ahead. Simbu has immediately responded and a sent a chocolate bouquet to Parthiban thanking him for his kind words.

An elated Parthiban has written in Tamil "My appreciated to the selfmade star Simbu has reached his ears and his assistant landed at my doorstep with a chocolate bouquet. His thanks gesture shows how cultured he is. Even in my thoughts I am surprised why both of us did not yet join together for a project...But now I can say that expect a thunderous stormy announcement soon."

Simbu is currently committed to 'Maanaadu' directed by Venkat Prabhu and costarring Kalyani Priyadarshan, S.J. Suryah and Bharathiraja among others. His next release will be 'Mahaa' costarring Hansika and Srikanth.

Parthiban is playing a pivotal role in Vijay Sethupathi's 'Tughlaq Durbar' and a few other films and is also planning to film his scripts after the lockdown ends.
