Actor and director Parthiban has made an announcement regarding a film he was supposed to act in but was later shelved.
As Valentine's Day is celebrated worldwide today, many new film announcements and love-themed songs are being released. Amid this, Parthiban shared an old announcement on his Facebook page about a film directed by Seeman that he was set to star in.
Parthiban wrote, "'Kadhal Ozhiha'—a title set on this day, 25 years ago, for a film directed by my friend Seeman, in which I was to act. Though the film was shelved, our friendship continues to thrive, appreciating each other’s work."
He further mentioned how Seeman praises his poetry and how they mutually respect each other despite having differing political and philosophical views. Playing on words, he humorously remarked about the nature of love and breakups, likening past love to an abandoned political ideology.
Parthiban poetically concluded that love, even if lost, can take root elsewhere and bloom again. He encouraged those who have experienced heartbreak to look forward to new beginnings.
