Actor and director Parthiban met Lakshminarayanan, Pondicherry Minister for Public Works and Tourism, regarding filming his upcoming movie in Pondicherry. Speaking to the press, Parthiban revealed that his new movie, titled "54th Page: A Feather of a Peacock," will be predominantly shot in Pondicherry, covering 99% of the filming. He sought the government's support, to which the minister agreed with kindness, promising help from the government. Parthiban also mentioned that he always plays the protagonist in his films and that this movie centers around a love theme.

When asked about actor Vijay's potential political entry, Parthiban remarked that in a democratic nation, anyone can enter politics or aspire to leadership. However, starting a political party and succeeding in politics involves challenges. He compared it to overcoming hurdles in events like Jallikattu and emphasized that leadership shines when one overcomes such obstacles. He also stated that advancement in politics often stems from criticizing the ruling party, as seen with leaders like MGR and Karunanidhi, and that neutrality doesn't work in such scenarios. Parthiban clarified that he doesn't align with any political party and would not join Vijay's party if invited, as his focus is solely on cinema.
