Parthiepan takes 'Puthiya Paathai' again

R Parthiepan is back after a break. The actor-director, who was last seen in 'Vithagan', will soon be seen in a sequel to 'Puthiya Paathai', a film which announced his arrival to the tinsel town more than two decades back.
Confirming this, Parthiepan says, Yes, I will be acting and directing the movie. Work will start soon. The movie has been titled Meendum Puthiya Paathai. It will come with a nice message.
'Puthiya Paathai' was about an orphan who was dumped in a dust bin and the emotions he undergoes. In the sequel, it is said that Parthiepan will play a middle-aged man and will continue from where he left in the first part.
After completing 'Meendum Puthiya Pathai', Parthiepan will start working on his long pending project 'Yelelo'. Interestingly, the movie will have music by Oscar-Grammy winner AR Rahman.
