Parvathy Menon impresses as Kanchanamala

Kanchanamala has by now become the stuff that legends are made of. Portraying her on screen was actress Parvathy Menon. Parvathy has lend an amazing depth into the character. After one of the video songs from the movie released, there was talk about 'Ennu Ninte Moideen' being similar for Parvathy with her role in 'Mariyan'.
However, even wearing similar skirt and top, Parvathy's portrayal of Kanchanamala is so fresh, even the eyes emoting. There is innocence and hope, tireless waiting, grit, determination, intense grief and unadulterated love reflected in those eyes. There is conviction with which Kanchana has been enacted on screen.
