Passionate producer lands Mani Ratnams Nawab

Mani Ratnam's 'Nawab', which will hit the screens on Sept 27, features Simbhu, Vijay Sethupati, Aravind Swamy, Arun Vijay, Jyothika, Aiswarya Rajesh, Aditi Rao Hydari and others.

Produced by Lyca Production House and Madras Talkies, the film's Telugu dubbing rights have been acquired by Ashok Vallabhaneni for a "fancy price".

The producer has bankrolled 'Sega' and 'Erra Gulabeelu' (directed by Gautham Menon) in the past. A financier of films like 'Chalo' and 'Garuda Vega', he is considered a lucky charm in the film industry.

'Nawab' has music by AR Rehman. It will clash with 'DevaDas', the Nagarjuna-Nani starrer.
