Kalyan Ram is a hero, who always gives chances to new directors to prove their talent. Most of his movies were directed by debutants. Some of the directors, he introduced are Surender Reddy with 'Athanokkade', Harshavardhan with 'Hare Ram', Naren Kondepati with 'Jayeebhava' and Sunil Reddy with 'Ohm 3D'.
The latest to join the list of directors introduced by Kalyan Ram is Anil Ravipudi. Anil Ravipudi has worked as a writer for films like Ram's 'Kandireega', Gopichand's 'Sankham', Venkatesh - Ram's 'Masala' and for Mahesh Babu's 'Aagadu'.
The film, which is titled as 'Pataas', was launched in the presence of Hari Krishna, Jr.NTR and director Surender Reddy. Kalyan Ram will be seen as a police officer in 'Pataas', which is touted to be a mass entertainer.
Sai Karthik, who has composed music for films like Nani's 'Paisa', Ram Gopal Varma's 'Rowdy' and Nara Rohith's 'Prathinidhi', will compose the music for 'Pataas'. Kalyan Ram will also produce the movie on NTR Arts banner. Sarvesh Murari is the cinematographer.
