It has been a moderate hit for SV Babu from Pataaki'. This is the film that had a changeover in form for golden star Ganesh. Saikumar, dialogue king of South India had a strong presence in this remake of Pataas' cinema in Manju Swaraj direction.
The film is still scoring well in over dozen multiplex theatres in Bengaluru, at Mysuru, Mandya, Haasan, Davanagere, Belthangadi, Koppala, Hubballi, Mundaragi, Kumuta, Mangaluru, Yalburga and other centers the film pataaki' is running in one theatres. In Bengaluru KG Road Menaka theatre the film got shifted from Anupama theatre.
