Pawan Kalyan asks TDP, YSRCP to make it clear

It's known that Pawan Kalyan is opposed to the proposed nuclear power plant in Kovvada, Srikakulam. Earlier today, the Jana Sena chief has put out a letter penned by former IAS officer EAS Sarma to the Prime Minister. In the letter, Sarma clearly explains as to why it's not right to go ahead with the commissioning of nuclear plants in the country.

Both TDP and YSRCP should openly clear their stand on setting up of Nuclear plants in Uttaranandra and other parts. I am hereby enclosing an e-mail written by Sri EAS Sarma, who raises his concerns to GOI and PMO regarding Nuclear plants, Power Star said.

Here is an excerpt from the letter:

Already, uranium cartels have been formed globally and they will drive up the fuel costs steeply. In addition, since the fuel costs will be denominated in dollars, the cost of electricity will be subjected to steep increases in terms of the dollar-rupee exchange rates. It's possible that Chinese companies will gain control over fuel supplies, raising questions of security of fuel supplies.

Pawan Kalyan may be presumed to be in agreement with the contents of the letter in toto.
