Pawan Kalyans fans arguments on Ali are wrong

After the Ali Vs Pawan Kalyan fiasco that unfolded earlier this week, large sections of Pawanists are utterly disappointed with the comedian. They never thought that the ever-so-loyal Ali would put "straight questions" to Power Star in a frank manner.

"How can Ali say that Pawan never gave him money or film offers when it's because of his friendship with Pawan that Ali is loved by millions of Pawan's fans?" many Pawan's fans are asking. This argument is typically wrong.

Just because Pawan's friendship ensured his fans' support for Ali, it doesn't mean that Ali should accept whatever Pawan throws at him. Do Pawan's fans expect Ali to make his friendship with Pawan transactional in nature? Is it called friendship if it's transactional?

Pawan made friends with Ali because he derived something from the relationship. Call it strength or emotional succor or whatever, only Pawan would know what he got from Ali. Nobody, literally nobody, has any stake in what Ali should think about Pawan and Pawan should think about Ali.

It's immature to expect Ali to be loyal towards Pawan for the rest of his life just because a superstar befriended him. Ali doesn't see it that way. It's not friendship if Ali keeps loving Pawan come what may. That would be master-slave relationship, businessman-client relationship, not friendship.

Above all, if Ali thinks Pawan said something that questioned his self-respect, so be it. That is the end of the matter.
