Last year, comedian Ali was expected to be given a ticket by Jana Sena.  The speculation was strong because he has been Pawan Kalyan's close friend for many years now.  Ali even attended the opening ceremony of Jana Sena office in Hyderabad.  On the occasion, Power Star was presented by him a copy of the Telugu translation of the Quran.

Cut to 2019, Ali has made it clear that his stop is going to be YSRCP!  This has caught Pawan's fans by a huge surprise. Some of them, who expected him to contest from Rajamahendravaram in East Godavari district on a Jana Sena ticket, are shocked.

The die-hard fans of Pawan are trolling the poor guy on social media.  Like Bandla Ganesh, Ali may well say that he has the utmost respect for Pawan regardless of his political choices.  Furthermore, he may never criticize Pawan.
