Pawan Kalyan starts Pink (remake) shoot today

Pawan Kalyan has started donning the greasepaint after more than two years. On Monday morning, he began his work on the Telugu remake of 'Pink' (Hindi), a Venu Sriram directorial that is produced by Dil Raju and Boney Kapoor, at Hyderabad's Alwal.

The untitled project has been in the news for the last few months as Power Star's comeback movie. The Jana Sena chief is pocketing almost 70 per cent of the film's budget as his remuneration.

The social thriller is scheduled to release in late May.

Nivetha Thomas, Ananya Nagalla ('Mallesham' fame) and Anjali have key roles in the movie. 'Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo' music director Thaman is the film's music director.
