Pawan reaches out to tribals; reiterates JS will have no alliance

During the Paderu rally, Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan has tried to woo the Tribals through his speech. He said that Girijans are a national treasure. "It's the state's responsibility to protect the property of the tribes. The government has failed to establish factories and provide industrial employment," he said.

Pawan slammed the prevalence of "illegal mining" in tribal areas. "Chandrababu Naidu garu has reneged on his promise over Bauxite mining. YSRCP MLAs don't attend the Assembly sessions and question the government's failures. Even YSRCP leaders have their hand in the till. That's why they are keeping mum. Only Jana Sena's stiff opposition and the tribes' protest has put a lid on rampant mining," he said, adding that Jana Sena was born from the people.

"Girijan youths are seeking jobs. There are no tribal universities, no toilets in schools, no avenues to earn money. In this situation, what can freebies do?" Pawan asked.

"I don't have thousands of crores. But I have the will to do good. I am moved by the unmet basic needs of the poor. During my Uttarandhra tour, I was witness to the problems of the poor across the board. Hospitals have no doctors, no medicines, etc," Pawan said.

He took potshots at TG Venkatesh, the politician-industrialist from Kurnool and Rajya Sabha MP. "Venkatesh garu talks nonsense. He got a Rajya Sabha seat only after I refused to take the seat. I ask of him not to speak as he wants. He shouldn't lose control over his tongue," Pawan said, reiterating that his party will not ally with anyone. "Despite our saying repeatedly that we won't have alliance with any party, some leaders are spreading lies," he added.
