'Petta'  is the powerful title of Superstar Rajinikanth's 165th film directed by Karthik Subbaraj and produced by Sun Pictures.  Meaning an area under one's control it spells absolute magnetism when read as Superstar Rajinikanth's 'Petta'.  The amazing first look as a motion poster is pure mass and it sure seems like the Thalaivar fans are in for a tremendous treat when the film hits the screens in 2019.

 'Petta'  which has music by Anirudh has the dream ensemble cast of Rajinikanth, Simran, Trisha, Nawazuddin Siddique, Bobby Simha, Sananth, Malavika Mohanan, Guru Somasundaram and Vijay Sethupathi as the chief antagonist.
