'Piku' leads in the popular category at TOIFA 2016

'Piku'actors Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone and Irrfan Khan have received the best news this month. As the movie 'Piku' leads in the nomination of the popular category at TOIFA 2016 with seven nods including best film and best actor. The other categories that the movie leads in are - best director for Shoojit Sircar, Deepika for best actress, best supporting actor for Irrfan Khan and two nods (best film and best male actor) in critics' choice.

The movie 'Piku' revolves around a hypochondriac old father and his daughter.

Other movies which come in line are, 'Bajirao Mastani' and 'Tanu Weds Manu Returns' come second with six nods apiece. Priyanka Chopra and Tanvi Azmi have been nominated for best supporting roles for the period drama. While Kangana Ranaut starrer 'Tanu Weds Manu Returns' bags both best actress and best actress critics' nods.
