Police complaint against Karate Kalyani after fight with YouTuber

Karate Kalyani, the popular cine artist, is in the news for the wrong reason. On Thursday night, she allegedly slapped YouTuber Srikanth Reddy on a road in Yousufguda, Hyderabad.
As per TV reports, Kalyani didn't like some of the objectionable videos that Srikanth Reddy has been putting out on YouTube. The videos allegedly disrespect women. Kalyani is an outspoken artist who has fought for the rights of women from time to time. She reportedly went to Srikanth to question him on the nature of his videos.
In a video drawn from CCTV footage, Kalyani can be seen holding an infant in her hands. She moves towards Srikanth and slaps him hard. At this, the YouTuber loses cool and slaps Kalyani's supporter (a male person) and Kalyani, in that order.
After the incident, Srikanth approached the SR Nagar Police Station and lodged a complaint against Kalyani for assaulting him. On her part, Kalyani has since stated that she did so as a form of self-defense.
In the CCTV footage aired by TV channels, one sees Srikanth merely standing at a distance. One hopes all this is not staged!
