Thalapathy Vijay's costar has received a promotion in Kerala police department and this news has come across as a surprise for netizens. It is none other than actor IM Vijayan who has received this promotion.

Vijayan, who was a popular footballer has represented Kerala police in football for many years and has also scored lots of goals and has acted in many movies including Tamil superhits like Thimiru, komban and Vijay's Bigil.
