Mani Ratnam's 'Ponniyin Selvan' to release in never before seen format - Deets

Mani Ratnam's epic multistarrer 'Ponniyin Selvan' based on the novel of the same name by Kalki is all set to release worldwide on September 30th in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Kannada and Malayalam. The film is going to make history by becoming the first to release in Imax version which means that fans can watch it in larger than life format just like the film itself.
'Ponniyin Selvan' aka 'PS-1' has the ensemble cast of Vikram, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Jayam Ravi, Karthi, Trisha, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Sobhita Dhulipala, Prabhu, R Sarathkumar, Vikram Prabhu, Jayaram, Prakash Raj, Rahman and R Parthiban.
The mega multistarrer also has top technical team of A.R. Rahman composing music, Ravi Varman handling the camera, A. Sreekhar Prasad serving as the editor and Thotta Tharani handling the production design. The trailer is expected to be released in a grand event in the first week of September.
