It's official : Pooja Hegde opposite Allu Arjun in 'DJ'

After much dilly dallying, Pooja Hegde has been roped in to play the lead opposite Allu Arjun in 'DJ - Duvvada Jagannadham'. Director Harish Shankar has considered several other names, before finalizing the 'Mohenjo Daro' actress.

Pooja signed the dotted line and the regular shooting of this movie will commence soon. Speculation is rife that the Stylish Star will be seen as a Brahmin in this movie, a role akin to NTR's Chari role in 'Adhurs', and it will be very entertaining role. Devi Sri Prasad is the music director.

Dil Raju is the producer. Earlier, Mehrene, who acted opposite Nani in 'Krishna Gaadi Veera Prema Gaadha' was also considered for the role of the leading lady.
