With 'Elluvochi Godaramma' song from 'Gaddalakonda Ganesh' clocking 100 million views, Pooja Hegde has thanked director Harish Shankar. The 'Maharshi' and 'Radhe Shyam' actress said that it was one of her toughest songs physically. She thanked the filmmaker for remaking the classic.

Taking to Twitter, the 'Most Eligible Bachelor' actress wrote, "Thank you for teaching me that when you do something with all your love, it always reaches more people, this was physically one of the toughest songs for me to shoot and it’s gratifying to see it touch 100 million. Harish Shankar's dream of remaking this song brought us here (sic)."

Reacting to the 'Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo' actress' tweet, the 'DJ' director said that her hard work and dedication reflected on the screen in the Varun Tej-co-starring song. "A million thanks would fall short to express my joy of shooting this song …but thanks again for being my Sridevi," the 'Gabbar Singh' maker added.

The song, written by late Veutir, was sung by late SPB and P Susheela.

'Gaddalakonda Ganesh', which was originally titled 'Valmiki', was a remake of the Tamil-language 'Jigarthanda'. Varun Tej and Atharvaa played author-backed roles in the box-office hit, which had music by Mickey J Meyer.
