Pookkaalam: Vijayaraghavan's makeover video goes viral

Renowned Mollywood actor Vijayaraghavan, known for his exceptional portrayal of character roles, recently amazed audiences with his remarkable transformation as a 100-year-old man in Ganesh Raj's heartwarming family entertainer 'Pookkalam'. The actor, who is 71 years old, has received widespread acclaim for his outstanding performance in the movie. The film's makers have now released a viral video showcasing Vijayaraghavan's incredible makeover, which, combined with his impeccable expressions, breathed life into the character of Ittoop in 'Pookkalam'.
In the film, Vijayaraghavan portrayed a centenarian who discovers that his wife had an affair 50 years ago, leading him to decide to file for divorce, forming the core of the story. The makeup artists dedicated at least four-and-a-half hours daily for 25 days to create Vijayaraghavan's look. 'Pookkalam' also marked the comeback of director Ganesh Raj after a hiatus of seven years, and features a stellar cast including KPAC Leela, Annu Antony, Basil Joseph, Vineeth Sreenivasan, Suhasini Maniratnam, Johny Antony, Arun Kurian, and many others.
