Poonam Dhillon to do 'English Vinglish' on small screen

The beautiful veteran Poonam Dhillon who was recently seen on big screen with Prabhu Dheva’s ‘Ramaiya Vastavaiya’ will be next donning the grease paint for television. Sony Entertainment Television’s upcoming fiction show titled as Ek Nayi Pehchaan will mark the comeback of veteran actor Poonam Dhillon on small screen.

The vibrant actress will be portraying the role of an amicable mother-in-law. Interestingly, the show is loosely based on the concept and storyline of Bollywood’s acclaimed movie ‘English Vinglish’, while it’s also the story of self-awakening and self-respect.

The show will also have Krystle Dsouza and Sooraj Thapar in the pivotal roles.

Lets see if ‘Sohni Mahiwal’ beauty will be able to touch the impressive benchmark set by Sridevi through the TV version of ‘English Vinglish’.
