Before Ponniyin Selvan, this actor to play Chozha king!

Even as actors Karthi, Jayam Ravi and Chiyaan Vikram are getting ready to play Chozha kings and princes in director Maniratnam's Ponniyin Selvan, another popular Tamil actor is all set to play a Chozha king on screen.

It is none other than actor Vemal, who is acting in the movie Chozhanaattaan directed by debutant Ranjith Kanna, who will play a Chozha king in the movie. Chozhanaattaan is an action thriller and will have a historic portion.

Vemal will be seen as Chozha king Rajendra Chozha in the historical segment in the movie which will be shot around Thanjavur and female lead, debutant Karonya Kattryn will play the maid of Chozha king in the historic portions of Chozhanaattaan.
