Actor Mahath had started his career acting in small roles in movies like Kaalai, Vallavan, and later played a negative role in Thala Ajith's Mankatha. He had acted in many movies including Simbu's Vanthaa Rajavathaan Varuven and is acting as hero in several movies now.

Mahath had participated in the second season of Bigg Boss reality game show and during the season it was revealed that the actor is in a relationship with Femina Miss India Earth 2012 Prachi Mishra, and last year April, the couple had got engaged after their parents approved their love.

Now the latest news making the rounds is that, Mahath and Prachi Mishra might get married in the first week of February, and that this marriage will be a closed event with only close friends and relatives invited for the ceremony. Mahath is acting as the lead in movies like Kettavannu per edutha Nallavanda and Ivan thaan Uthaman.
