Actor Arya who had recently appeared in dual roles in Magamuni directed by Mounaguru director Santhakumar, is next acting in the movie Teddy directed by Shakthi Soundararajan and produced by Studio Green. This movie is said to be a fantasy entertainer.

While it was announced that real couple Arya and Sayyeshaa will be the on screen couple in Teddy as well, after their 2018 release Ghajinikanth, Bigg Boss 3 contestant Sakshi Agarwal is also a part of the movie along with comedian Sathish who plays an important role.

It has now been revealed that director Magizh Thirumeni who has directed movies like Thadaiyara Thaakka, Thadam and Arya's Maeghamann has played a role in Teddy, and director Shakthi Soundararajan revealed with his tweet "#MagizhThirumeni has completed shooting for #Teddy!! Happy to launch his acting debut! Watch out for him". Magizh has also acted in Vijay Sethupathi's Yaadhum Oore Yavarum Kelir.
