Superstar Rajnikanth who had last acted in Darbar directed by AR Murugadoss, and after the Pongal release is acting in director Siva's untitled movie which is produced by Sun Pictures. Thalaivar 168, as the movie has been called is being shot in Hyderabad.

Thalaivar 168 which has a huge star cast, now has got another interesting addition to the team. Popular writer and actor Vela Ramamoorthy, who is known for his books like Kutra Parambarai and Pattathu Yaanai and movies like Kidaari, Madha Yaanai Koottam has joined the team now.

Thalaivar 168 also stars Keerthy Suresh, Nayanthara, Meena, Kushbhu, Prakashraj, Sathish, Soori, Goerge Maryan and many others and has music by D Imman. The movie is said to be a family entertainer which will be releasing worldwide in September - October.
