Powerstar Srinivasan admitted to hospital after sudden illness

Popular comedy actor Powerstar Srinivasan has been admitted to a private hospital in Maduravayal Chennai after a sudden illness. He is being treated and a coronavirus test has reportedly been taken and results awaited.
Srinivasan himself a doctor is said to have been admitted in the same hospital in January due to fluctuations in his blood pressure. Before becoming an actor he ran his own clinic in Anna Nagar Chennai.
Srinivasan made his debut in his own movie 'Lathika' in which he assumed the name of Powerstar which became a prefix to his name. His big break came in Santhanam's 'Kanna Laddu Thinna Aasaiya' in which he played one of the three leads with the third being the late actor Sethuraman.
