Big update on Prabhas and Saif Ali Khan's 'Adipurush'

The filming for one of the most anticipated films of the coming year, 'Adipurush', has finally wrapped up. This mythological drama is based on Ramayan and it is directed by Om Raut who is also known for helming Ajay Devgan's 'Tanhaji'. Om announced the film wrap through an Instagram post. He shared a picture with the principal cast and wrote, It's a shoot wrap for Adipurush!!! A wonderful journey has come to its finish line. 'Adipurush' stars Prabhas, Saif Ali Khan and Kriti Sanon in central roles and it is a passion project of sorts for Om Raut. Prabhas is going appear in a role inspired by Lord Ram while Saif will play the main antagonist Lankesh. Kriti Sanon will be portraying Jaanki, a character inspired by Sita.
The film is supposed to hit the theatres on 11th of August and it's going to clash with Akshay Kumar starrer 'Raksha Bandhan'.
