Prabhas’ Fauji Locks Release Date

PAN-India superstar Prabhas is currently juggling two major projects — The Raja Saab and Fauji. While The Raja Saab is in its final leg of shooting, Fauji, directed by Hanu Raghavapudi, still has some way to go. Known for his modern classic Sita Ramam, Hanu is set to deliver yet another emotionally charged and visually spectacular tale.
Backed by Mythri Movie Makers, Fauji is being mounted on a massive scale, blending period grandeur with heartfelt storytelling. During the promotions of Dude, featuring Pradeep Ranganathan, the makers officially announced that the film is slated for an August 2026 release.
Set against the pre-Independence backdrop, Fauji promises a captivating mix of patriotism, emotion, and high drama, anchored by Prabhas in a never-seen-before role. The film’s release window also provides a comfortable gap between The Raja Saab and Fauji, ensuring dedicated focus on each project.
The film stars Imanvi, the popular social media sensation, as the female lead, while Mithun Chakraborty and Jayapradha play crucial roles. Music is reportedly composed by Vishal Chandrasekhar, known for his soulful and grand soundscapes.
With its stellar cast, rich historical setting, and Hanu Raghavapudi’s signature emotional depth, Fauji is shaping up to be one of Prabhas’ most ambitious and heartfelt films yet.
