Prabhu Deva's cop film title announced!

The last we saw Prabhu Deva was in silent thriller ‘Mercury’ directed by Karthik Subbaraj. While fans were eagerly awaiting anupdate from his next film which is touted to be a police film, the makers did just that!
The makers have announced the title of film which is ‘Pon Manickavel’. Mugil Chellappan is the director of the film while music composer Imman will be scoring the music for the highly anticipated movie. Bankrolled by Nemichand Jhabak and Hitesh Jhabak, the film also has Nivetha Pethuraj and Mahendran in the ensemble cast.
An interesting tidbit is that Pon Manickavel is the name of the IG who brought the stolen Raja Raja Cholan recently to our state. So we could expect greater things from the film!
