Pradeep Ranganathan-Vignesh Shivan project undergoes major change? - DEETS

Vignesh Sivan is one of the highly rated amongst the current generation of filmmakers in Tamil cinema. After delivering the super hit film 'Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kadhal' starring Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara and Samantha he signed on to direct Ajith's 'AK 62'. However due to creative differences he opted out and now the film is being made as 'Vidaamuyarchi' directed by Magizh Thirumeni.

We broke the news first to you that Vignesh Shivan confirmed that his next project will have sensational young actor-director Pradeep Ranganathan in the lead. The project was to have been bankrolled by Kamal Haasan's RKFI but now there is a big change there.

According to latest reports the Pradeep Ranganathan - Vignesh Shivan film will be produced by Lalit Kumar of 'Leo' fame. The as yet untitled film will have S.J. Suryah and Mysskin in powerful supporting roles while talks are on with a young Bollywood beauty to pair with with Pradeep. This will be Pradeep's second film as hero of his own blockbuster hit film 'Love Today'.

It is said that the film is a love story with SciFi elements such as time travel through mobile technology and is set in 2030. Anirudh will be scoring the music and the rest of the cast and crew details will be out soon. Stay tuned.
