Prakash Raj insulted Lord Ram: Vishnu Manchu

In 2019, Prakash Raj was accused of comparing Ram Leela to child porn. In a statement, the versatile actor happened to say that Ram Leela fests are dangerous for India.

Ahead of the MAA polls, actor Vishnu Manchu has referred to the controversial remarks. I am not angry that Prakash Raj has criticized me. When he couldn't spare Lord Ram, who am I? I am an ordinary mortal. I am not being communal. My wife is a Christian. My brother-in-law is not from our caste. Our family is not at all caste-conscious, Manchu said.

The 'Mosagallu' actor, who is a self-confessed Hindutva supporter, also raised the issue of Prakash Raj allegedly abusing Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the past. The senior actor, who has acted in multiple languages, made anti-BJPism his core politics in the 2019 General Elections.

The MAA elections are seeing a sharp contest between Prakash Raj and Vishnu. They will be held on October 10.
