A day after Rajinikanth announced his political entry, here comes the statement from Prakash Raj that he is ready for politics should someone 'challenge' him.

The actor, leaning towards the Left, wants to take it up in order to question the "authoritarian and majoritarian" politics of the BJP. On the face of it, the versatile performer will show interest in electoral politics ahead of the Karnataka Assembly elections.

His following on Twitter has grown in a significant way in the last few weeks. A very popular face in South India, it has to be seen if Raj will join the Congress or face the elections independently.

He is currently doing 'Jai Simha' and 'Bharat Ane Nenu' in the main.
