Prakash Raj has taken a break from his busy acting schedule, to take care of his ailing mother who was hospitalized recently. The National Award winning actor has even opted out of a Kannada project to look after his mother.

I expressed my inability to be part of Yogaraj Bhat’s Drama, since I have to be with my mother, said Prakash Raj. It is to be noted that 'Drama' was touted as his comeback movie in Kannada film industry.

Meanwhile, circles close to the actor-producer-director said that he had plans to float his next directorial venture in Tamil soon. He will now do it after his mother gets well, they add. His latest offering in Tamil, 'Dhoni', won critical acclaim.

Prakash Raj is always a name to reckon with for quality, be it his performance in movies or the films he produces. Some of his production ventures under the reputed Duet Movies banner are 'Azhagiya Theeye', 'Mozhi', and 'Abhiyum Naanum'.
