After a short gap Kalabhavan Mani is back with an action flick. Titled `Pramukhan' this massmasala fare will be directed by actor turned director Salim Bava. Mani will be supported in the lead by Sajith Raj, an young actor who have a meaty role, spread along the entire movie.

The movie has Kalabhavan Mani playing a bold police officer, S I. Tony Sebastian. Quite famous for his sincerity and integrity, he is now posted to a new village police station near Aluva. Being an officer with clear ideals and no compromise against corruption, he is often transferred from his offices by the pressures from the local political leaders. And it is one such instant that brought Tony to the village.

The new rural land where Tony takes charge is the abode of land mafia, who also exploits people by giving them very low wages. The group has its own leader in Kannan, an agile youth who is the most loved one in the community. The left hand man of Bhadran Thampuran of Kovilakan, Kannan is basically an orphan, reared by his foster parents. He also has his love in Athira of Kovilakam and their relation is wholly approved by the villagers.

Kannan also have an unseen side, where he is preparing in all levels to clear off his borne enemy, who is presently behind bars. The movie goes on to tell the thrilling moments, when Tony Sebastian takes on Kannan and his allies to end up the torture they make on nature.

While Sajith Raj Appears as Kannan, Pooja is the heroine of the movie playing the role of Aathira. `Pramukhan' also has Saikumar, Sreejith Ravi, Anoopchandran, Reghu, Santhosh, Machan Varghese, Urmila Unni, Lakshmi Sharma and Sreelakshmi in other important roles.

The other highlight of the movie is that no dupes are used in the entire fight sequences of the movie. Produced by Biju John and Priyesh George in the banner of cinema movies, `Pramukhan' will be brought to theatres by Unique Movies.
