Prasanna replaces Shaam

Late last month, we reported that Shaam had walked out of a film titled 'Kaalakoothu'. Now the team has found a replacement, as Prasanna has been roped in for the task.
The film, directed by Nagarajan, will now have Prasanna and Kalaiarasan of 'Madras' fame in key roles. Shooting got a kickstart in Madurai recently.
Dhanshika and Shrusti Dange are the heroines of the movie, which revolves around the friendship between the two leads. Shaam, who was apparently upset with the sudden changes made to his look and character, opted out of the movie, it was said.
