Actress Samantha was seen recently on screen in Jaanu, the Telugu remake of the 2017 Tamil superhit 96, and in Tamil, she had last acted in the movie Super Deluxe directed by Thiagarajan Kumararaja.

Recently the actress had signed Vignesh Shivan's romantic comedy Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kadhal co-starring Vijay Sethupathi and Nayanthara, and now here's an interesting detail on her next Tamil movie in lead role.

Samantha has reportedly signed a new movie to be directed by Ashwin Saravanan who has directed Maya and Game over and this movie which is a female centric thriller will also have Prasanna in an important role. Interestingly, Prasanna was also a part of Samantha's Tamil debut Baana Kaathadi.
