Prasanth Varma announces a superhero film, reveals title

'AWE' fame director Prasanth Varma has announced a superhero film. Touted to be an original one, it is the first Telugu-language superhero movie. Titled 'Hanu-Man', the film's announcement came in the form of a motion poster.
This time I’m coming with my favourite Genre!! Fasten your seat belts to dive into a new cinematic universe! “HANU-MAN”. The First Original Superhero Film in Telugu, the 'Kalki' director tweeted.
The film's cast and crew details will be revealed at a later date. Going by the title, it might have a mythological touch. The motion poster sees visuals of snow-capped hills. The picturesque backdrop suggests that Varma is looking at telling an authentic Indian story.
Varma is also credited with making the first zombie comedy in Tollywood. Titled 'Zombie Reddy', it hit the screens this February. Starring Teja Sajja, RJ Hemanth, Kireeti and others, it was a decent hit at the box-office. Its recent second-time TV telecast registered a good TRP figure.
Varma is also expected to debut on OTT this year or next year.
