Is this director taking over Prashanth's Andhadhun remake?

It was announced before few months that actor Prashanth will play the lead in the Tamil remake of the acclaimed 2018 Bollywood superhit Andhadhun which was directed by Sriram Raghavan and starred Ayushmann Khurrana.

Prashanth's father Thiagarajan had acquired the Tamil remake rights of Andhadhun and it was said that Karthik, Yogi Babu and Ramya Krishnan were signed to play important roles in the movie.

The latest speculation making the rounds is that Andhadhun remake be directed by JJ Frederick who had directed the Jyothika starrer Ponmagal Vandhaal will be directing the remake, and an official clarification is expected soon.
