A heartwarming video of Sandalwood's star director Prashanth Neel erupting with joy after Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) clinched their first-ever IPL trophy is taking social media by storm. The victory celebration took place during the IPL 2025 finals against Punjab Kings, and fans can’t get enough of Neel’s raw emotion.

What made the moment even more special? It happened on Prashanth Neel’s birthday! The acclaimed filmmaker, currently directing his much-awaited pan-India action spectacle with NTR, tentatively titled Dragon, watched the nail-biting final on a massive screen installed on the Ramoji Film City set.

Joining Neel in the celebration were his wife Likitha Reddy Neel and the cast and crew of Dragon. Likitha shared the video on Instagram with the caption: “Perfect birthday gift to one of the craziest cricket fans I know,” highlighting Neel’s undying love for RCB and the sport.

Dragon, marking the dynamic collaboration between Prashanth Neel and NTR, is being jointly produced by Mythri Movie Makers and NTR Arts. The film is all set for a grand worldwide release on June 25, 2026.
