Prashanth's comeback movie gets a powerful actress

Prashanths comeback movie gets a powerful actress

After a long hiatus, Prashanth is making a comeback as hero in a new movie directed by Mohan Raja and produced by Thiagarajan.  The as yet untitled project is the Tamil remake of the critically acclaimed Bollywood sleeper hit 'Andhadhun' that had Ayushmann Khurrana, Radhika Apte and Tabu in the lead roles.

The 'Andhadhun' Tamil remake will have Ramya Krishnan in the negative role played by Tabu in the original.  The powerful actress is at the peak of her second innings in Tamil cinema after 'Baahubali' , 'Thaana Serndha Koottam', 'Super Deluxe' and the web series 'Queen' in which she has towered in a role reminiscent of former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister the late J. Jayalalitha.
