'Prati Roju Pandage' Trailer: Funny characters, jovial mood

The Trailer for 'Prati Roju Pandage' is out. If the trailer is anything to go by, director Maruthi has added his uncanny touch to a line that looks similar to the storyline of 'Shatamanam Bhavati'. To be fair, 'PRP' is beyond the Satish Vegesna-Sharwanand-Anupama movie. If Prakash Raj was a dull character in that movie, Sathyaraj is jovial here. If Sharwanand mouthed banalities there, Sai Dharam Tej may well be fun to watch. Elders like Sijju were bland in that movie. Here, Maruthi relies on actors as versatile as Rao Ramesh.
Raashi Khanna plays the hero's love interest. But the love story is secondary. Sathyaraj, the grandpa, is running out of time. In come his children from different parts of the world. What follows next is a celebration of life, and even death.
From Praveen to Mahesh Achanta and Suhaas, the film does have its share of comedians.
With music by SS Thaman, this one has been produced by Bunny Vas on GA2 Pictures and UV Creations.
The family entertainer will hit the screens on December 20.
