'Premam' Sai Pallavi becomes Karthi's pair

We had reported earlier that Maniratnam's next after the super hit OK Kanmani' has Karthi playing the lead role while many heroines were considered to play his love interest. Now reliable sources confirm that Mani has zeroed in on Premam' girl Sai Pallavi as Karthi's pair.

The as yet untitled film produced by Maniratnam's Madras Talkies banner has A.R. Rahman scoring the music, Vairamuthu writing lyrics and Ravi Varman handling the camera. Shooting is expected to begin in June and the team is busy finalizing the rest of the cast and crew.
