Fans happy after Thala Ajith wins prestigious award!

In a bright start to 2021 for Kollywood, top stars like Thala Ajith, Dhanush and Jyothika have won Dadasaheb Phalke Award (South) 2020 for their performances in movies released last year. 

The prestigious Dadasaheb Phalke Award is held every year to honor the industry’s best talents and this award covers four film industries of South India - Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu, and Kannada.

This year, Ajith Kumar has been awarded the versatile actor for Viswasam and Ner konda Paarvai, Dhanush received best actor for Asuran, Jyothika best actress for Ratchasi and best film was received by Tolet, Parthiban was awarded best director, Anirudh was awarded best music director.
