Prince Harry is said to be getting a hotel room for his trip to the UK next week. This is going to be the first time he has gone to London since February, when he went to visit King Charles after the cancer diagnosis of the head of the monarchy. The trip corresponds with the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games.

Reports even state that although there is the possibility of a family reunion, the royal residences have not invited Harry. When he visited in February, he checked into a hotel and is likely to do so again this time.

It had been reported that Harry wanted to stay at Windsor Castle for the event but was refused the request because of lack of adequate notice. There is no official confirmation by either Buckingham Palace or Kensington Palace officials that any member of the royal family will be at the event.

Sources said it could be that the King was simply going to be too busy to talk to his son, as he is reputed to have a very full program, including the Prime Minister Rishi Sunak amongst other key events. Celebratory services are also being hosted around key family moments, with Prince Archie turning five that week and the anniversary of the coronation of King Charles. Harry has travelled alone. His wife, Meghan Markle, and the children are to stay behind but will join the celebrations in Nigeria later in the month.
