Mahesh-Samanta starrer 'Dookudu' directed by Sreenu Vaitla and jointly produced by Ram Achanta, Gopichand Achanta and Anil Sunkara on the banner of 14 Reels Entertainment is fast getting ready for release on September 23.

Thaman scored music for the first time for a Maheshbabu's film and the audio which was released into the market recently is getting a good response.

The shooting of the film is almost complete but for the canning of an item song which goes like 'Poovai... Poovai...'. A special set was erected at Ramoji Film City for the purpose from September 6. Maheshbabu is going to shake legs with Parvati Melton for this special song.

The film unit in a bid to complete the post-production formalities is taking them up simultaneously at Sabdalaya Studios in Hyderabad.
