40 Lakh Stolen from Pritam Chakraborty’s Studio, Police Investigate

Hindi film music composer Pritam Chakraborty has given many super hit songs in Bollywood. His studio is located near the Goregaon-Mulund Link Road in Mumbai. Ashish Sayal (32) worked as an assistant at this studio.

Producer Madhu Mandela had given Rs. 40 lakhs to Pritam Chakraborty for his film project. The money was kept in a bag inside the office drawer.

While the manager stepped out for a while, Ashish Sayal took the cash and disappeared. His mobile phone has been switched off.

A complaint has been lodged at the Malad police station and an investigation is currently underway.
