Mollywood superstar Mohanlal is turning 61 today and wishes from celebs and audience have been pouring in from all corners since midnight. Actor Prithviraj, who shares a close rapport with Mohanlal ever since their collaboration in the 'Lucifer' movie, took to his official social media pages and posted a heartwarming wish for the complete actor.
Sharing an unseen picture of Mohanlal clicked during the first-day shoot of Lucifer, Prithvi wrote, This was Day 1 of Lucifer shoot. If not for the pandemic, we should have been shooting Empuraan by now. Will hopefully get there soon enough. Happy birthday Stephen! Happy birthday AbRaam. Happy birthday Laletta! ❤️ @mohanlal.
The 2019 release Lucifer was the maiden directorial of Prithviraj Sukumaran. The movie starred Mohanlal in the lead role had an ensemble of talented actors, including the director himself, such as Vivek Oberoi, Tovino Thomas, Indrajith Sukumaran, and Saniya Iyappan. The movie was dubbed and released in several regional languages and was a huge hit collecting over Rs 175 crores. Post the massive success of Lucifer, the team announced a sequel to the flick titled 'Empuraan'. Ever since the sequel was announced, the movie buffs have been impatiently waiting for it.
