Priya Mani replaces Keerthy Suresh in mega project

Priya Mani replaces Keerthy Suresh in mega project

Keerthy Suresh after getting the National Award for Best Actress in 'Mahanati' portraying legendary actress Savithri was signed on to debut in Hindi with producer Boney Kapoor. Now it has been officially confirmed that Priya Mani has replaced Keerthy in the film 'Maidaan' which has Ajay Devgan as the hero.

There are two versions in the media why Keerthy was replaced with one suggesting that the dates clashed with 'Thalaiavar 168' starring Superstar Rajinikanth and the other is that she does not look old enough to play Ajay Devgan's wife in the film. Keerthy is in talks to do more films in Telugu, Malayalam and Tamil this year and the announcements will come one after the other.
